About the Event

The Feira do Alvarinho de Monção is the flagship wine event of the Monção sub-region, now in its 28th edition (2025). Held at the beautiful Parque das Caldas in the heart of Monção, the fair brings together the finest Alvarinho producers from the region for four days of tastings, gastronomy, concerts, and cultural celebration.

Alvarinho is the noble grape variety of the Monção-Melgaço sub-region, producing aromatic, mineral white wines prized across Portugal and internationally. The fair is the definitive showcase for this unique terroir.
