About the Event


Organized by Carlos Sá Nature Events, TransPeneda-Gerês is one of the most demanding and beautiful trail running events in Portugal. The race traverses the full extent of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the country’s only national park.

The 2025 edition offers distances of 25 km, 37 km, 60 km and 115 km (UTMB Index race). The 2026 edition expands to include 11 km, 25 km, 42 km, 65 km and 118 km. The flagship TPG 115k features 6,522m of elevation gain across granite mountains, oak forests, river valleys and remote villages.
