Route & Itinerary


1. Santa Luzia Viewpoint

Take the funicular or drive up to the Basílica de Santa Luzia for panoramic views of the city, the Lima river and the Atlantic Ocean stretching out beyond.

2. Old Town Walk

Descend into the old town and wander through narrow medieval streets, past the Praça da República and traditional shops selling local crafts and linen.

3. Harbourside Seafood Lunch

Fresh fish from the morning catch at local restaurants along the marina. Pick a spot with views over the harbour and enjoy the best of Atlantic seafood.

4. Praia do Cabedelo

Golden sand Atlantic beach on the south side of the Lima river. Take the ferry across for the full experience, or drive around. Perfect for an afternoon wind-down.
